I love making music but I don't own any software so I can only make music while I'm at school and it's currently summer holidays in Britain so I can't make music :(

There are several free programs available. 'Audacity' & 'Sound Engine' are listed as being free in the Wiki ( https://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/creator-resources/music-and-audio-resources/sound-editors ), but there are probably others.
ADR3-N might have some listed in her monthly 'Music Producer Freebie Mag'. Digging them out might take some time, but you'll probably find a ton of other useful stuff there:
